OFFICIAL: Vardy joins Cremonese in stunning Serie A move

The 38-year-old striker has joined Davide Nicola's side for his first experience outside England. His career began in the lower leagues with Halifax Town and Fleetwood Town before he joined Leicester City in 2013.
Over 13 seasons, he played 500 matches for the Foxes, scoring 200 goals and providing 57 assists. He was instrumental in Leicester's historic 2015/16 Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri.
During that legendary season, Vardy set a record with 11 consecutive Premier League games scoring, surpassing Ruud van Nistelrooy. In 2019/20, he claimed the Premier League Golden Boot as the league's top scorer.
Now, at 38, the striker is ready to test himself in Serie A. Cremonese hope the veteran forward can bring experience, leadership and goals to their squad as they aim to secure survival and establish themselves in Italy's top flight.
