Real Valladolid announced the signing of Luis Pérez on Thursday, a right-back whose contract at Tenerife ended and who has been linked with the La Liga outfit in the last few months.
Born in Utrera and formed in the Sevilla youth academy, the Real Valladolid sporting director, Miguel Ángel Gómez, knows him well from that spell and has opted decidedly for his arrival.
Luis Pérez played for Jaén and Elche before arriving at Tenerife, where, with his consistency, he became one of the best right-backs in the Segunda División.
At 25-years-old, the player is the third player in the position at the club, so his arrival could lead to the departure of Javi Moyano or Antoñito. In any case, both shared the position this season alongside Pedro Porro, although the former Girona player had virtually no opportunities.
