Sunday's Premier League clash between Tottenham and Arsenal has been postponed due to a lack of players available for Arsenal.
The Gunners have several injuries, players at the AFCON as well as suspensions and a COVID case. That means they do not have enough players to play the game. Arsenal made the request to the Premier League on Friday evening and it has been accepted.
Arsenal drew 0-0 with Liverpool on Thursday in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg, but they lost Cedric Soares to injury and Granit Xhaka is suspended for Sunday after seeing red in the fixture.
Tottenham are understood to be very angry at the decision to the late timing of it, but the match will have to be played at a later date.
Tottenham are 6th on 33 points while Arsenal are 5th on 35 points, two points off the Champions League places.
