The Swansea academy product has gone from strength to strength under manager Graham Potter, making his debut for the club and earning his maiden Wales call-up following a series of mature performances at the heard of the Swans' defence.
The 21-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the current campaign, but the club have moved to ensure he is tied to the Liberty Stadium for the forseeable future.
"The coaching staff and manager have looked after me very well over the last few months," Rodon told the club's official website after signing on the dotted line.
"They have integrated me into the group and since Preston they have been careful with me. Hopefully I can repay them and the club with my performances.
"Everything has happened so quickly in the last few months. I've played regularly and then I got a Wales call-up, so I'm loving life. Hopefully there's a lot more to come in the future."
