Real Sociedad and Man Utd will not meet at the Reale Arena. The last 32 Europa League clash will take place on neutral territory due to restrictions in Spain.
This Monday, it was revealed that Real Sociedad, Man Utd and UEFA have agreed to hold the game at Juventus' Allianz Stadium and so they asked Juventus and the Italian government for approval.
This Tuesday, the Italian Government have given its approval and so the Europa League tie will be held at the Juventus Stadium.
"The ban on people entering Spain from the United Kingdom until 16th February and the possibility that could be extended, has meant the decision has been made to play the match in a different stadium. Therefore, in agreement with UEFA and Juventus, and now approval has been given from the Italian Government, the encounter against Manchester United will be held at the Juventus Stadium in Turin on 18th February at 18:55 CET," Real Sociedad said in a statement.
