PSG continues with their transfer policy under the guidance of director Luis Campos. The Parisian club has significantly changed their objectives and the signing of Hugo Ekitike is an example of this.
He arrives at the Parc des Princes on loan from Stade de Reims, with an option to buy at the end of the 2022-23 season. Christophe Galtier will decide whether he stays at PSG or not.
At just 20 years of age, Ekitike has already adapted to Ligue 1 with Stade de Reims, which he joined in 2013. In the summer of 2020, the 1.89m striker signed his first professional contract.
His professional debut was in October 2020, against FC Lorient. He played for six months with Danish club Vejle BK, starting in January 2021, and ended up scoring three goals in eleven games.
Last season, Hugo Ekitike returned to Stade de Reims and scored eleven goals in 27 games in all competitions, which earned him the attention of the French champions.
