Lukasz Piszczek has agreed a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund, committing himself to the Bundesliga club until June 2020. His contract was due to expire at the end of next season, but the Pole has now added another year onto his time in Germany.
Piszczek signed for Dortmund as a free agent in 2010 and he has gone on to make almost 200 appearances for them in the Bundesliga. This season he has played 26 times and contributed four goals to the cause.
Widely regarded as one of Europe's finest wide defenders, he also has 59 caps to his name with the Polish national team.
He has twice won the Bundesliga with Dortmund, as well as the DFB-Pokal two times, and a Champions League runners up medal.
