Barcelona and Martin Braithwaite have reached an agreement to terminate the contract of the Danish player, who still had two years left on his contract at Camp Nou.
A new departure in Xavi Hernandez's squad, which is closing this chapter just a few hours before the end of the market. Braithwaite's departure has been one of the board's main concerns all summer.
"FC Barcelona publicly expresses their gratitude to Braithwaite for his commitment and dedication and wishes him the best of luck and success in the future," the club said in a statement.
Braithwaite arrived in Barcelona during the 2020 winter transfer window, when the 'Cule' team signed him from Leganes. Over the two and a half seasons, he has made 58 appearances.
The 2020-21 season was the most successful for Braithwaite. In the 2021-22 season, a left knee injury kept him sidelined and he only played five games as a 'Cule'.
