The Senegalese international joined the 'Reds' in a £34m move from Southoumpton back in June 2016 and he has become a key member of Jurgne Klopp's side since, plundering 40 goals in 89 appearances in all competitions.
Talks over a new contract were opened towards the end of last season as the likes of Real Madrid were linked with a move for the 26-year-old, but the flying forward has now committed his long-term future to Liverpool on a deal that is believed to run until the summer of 2023.
"I am very happy to extend my time at Liverpool. It is a great day for me and I have made the best decision in my career," Mane enthused after signing on the dotted line.
"I am looking forward to everything - to helping the team, to helping the club achieve our dreams and, especially, to win trophies.
"I've always said, when I knew I had a chance to come here I didn't have to think twice. The right club in the right moment and with the right coach as well. I came here and was very happy."
Mane was named Liverpool's Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year for 2016/17 off the back of an impressive first season at the club and he followed that up by scoring 20 goals in all competitions last term, including 10 on Liverpool's march to the Champions Legaue final.
That form has seen him forge a fearsome front three alongside Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino, though individual gongs have also been forthcoming, with Mane recently named on the 30-man shortlist for the 2018 Ballon d'Or.
Liverpool fans will be buoyed by Mane's decision to commit to the club as he follows in the footsteps of Firmino and Salah, who signed similar deals in April and July respectively.
