OFFICIAL: Javi Martinez is on his way to Qatar

The soap opera involving Javi Martinez has come to an end. After ending his spell at Bayern Munich, the player confirmed he will not return to Athletic Club, but instead will be off to play his football in Qatar.

The Basque side offered him a two-year contract at 2.5 million euros a season, but the Spaniard didn't accept their proposal. In the end, it was Qatar SC that ended up securing his services for next season, although details of the deal are currently unknown. 

His new club published a video this Sunday reporting his arrival, however, at the moment, that's all we know about their signing of Javi Martinez.
