The documentary followed the France international from the beginning of April when the rumours had just begun to his final decision in June.
Viewers were taken through his journey which even included clips of Atletico's Europa League triumph on May 16 - a decisive factor in his decision.
However, it wasn't until the final moment that Griezmann revealed that he would be staying at the Wanda Metropolitano - one that he had decided a day before the start of the World Cup (June 13).
His decision will no doubt come as a blow to Barcelona, who had appeared confident of landing the 27-year-old.
Following the end of the video, Griezmann posted on Twitter the important clip accompanied by the caption: "My fans, my team, MY HOME!!! #Atletico".
The message was subsequently retweeted by Atletico, who added: "Our number 7 #AupaAtleti".

Throughout the documentary, the decision appeared to be a difficult one with the lack of Champions League success at Atletico certainly a sticking point.
Griezmann argued: "I want to win the Champions League. It seems that it is bad luck to lose two finals, but it isn't that. Something has been missing. Always finishing second or third... We are missing something".
However, the effort shown to the striker by the La Liga club proved their ambitions and Griezmann finished the video positive about their future.
He told a friend through a voice note: "I received a message about the project and the reinforcements and, truthfully, it's incredible. They are doing everything possible to continue growing and to have more opportunities to be in the final of the Champions League.
"At home, everyone was telling me to 'go, leave', but I was expecting something from Atletico and now they are making a lot of effort to bring in top players. I need to tell people that I want to stay, I cannot take it anymore":
