OFFICIAL: De Bruyne confirms departure from Man City

Kevin De Bruyne has revealed that he will be leaving Manchester City at the end of the season. The 33-year-old made the announcement on social media, confirming that his contract, which expires this summer, will mark the conclusion of his remarkable tenure at the Manchester club, which began in 2015.
In an emotional post, the playmaker wrote: "These will be my final months as a Manchester City player." The Belgian admitted that while it was difficult to put into words, this is a reality all footballers must face eventually.
Over the past decade, the midfielder has helped the club achieve unprecedented success, winning every major domestic and international title available.
Signed for £54.5 million from Wolfsburg, De Bruyne reflected on how City and the city itself transformed his life. "This city, this club, these people gave me EVERYTHING," he wrote. "I had no choice but to give EVERYTHING back! And guess what – we won everything."
Throughout his career at Manchester City, De Bruyne has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five Carabao Cups, and the Champions League, cementing his legacy as one of the club's greatest ever players.
He concluded his message by thanking the city, the club, the staff, his teammates, and his family for the unforgettable journey, stating: "Every story comes to an end, but this has undoubtedly been the best chapter. Let's enjoy these final moments together."
His contract is due to expire at the end of June but it remains unclear whether he will continue to see out his days as a City player at the Club World Cup, which runs from June 14 until July 13.
