The German side announced on Thursday that the 21-year-old had signed a signed a three-year contract extension, committing his future to the Bavarian side until the summer of 2023.
Coman joined Bayern back in 2015 on an initial two-year loan deal from Italian side Juventus, before the move was made permanent this summer.
The youngster has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Bayern so far this season, scoring four and laying on seven assists.
Coman is tipped to have a bright future by Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, who considers him “a player with great future potential”.
“Kingsley Coman has made fantastic progress this season and has rightfully become a senior France international while at Bayern. We’re pleased to have tied Kingsley down to a long-term contract and are convinced he’ll become a true great at Bayern in the future,” the former Bayern midfielder added.
The player himself was also very happy with the deal, saying: "I'm delighted to be able to carry on playing for this club for many years to come. I feel very much at home at Bayern and in Munich".
