OFFICIAL: British transfer record shattered as Isak signs for Liverpool for £130m

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United in a record-breaking £130 million transfer. The 25-year-old Swede signed a six-year contract with the Merseyside club on Monday after completing his medical.
The Swedish international now becomes the most expensive player ever signed by a British side, smashing the previous record set by Florian Wirtz and Moises Caicedo.
Last season, Isak was in prolific form, scoring 23 Premier League goals—a tally only bettered by Mohamed Salah—and helping Newcastle secure Champions League qualification.
