OFFICIAL: Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen reach agreement over Bailey

Subject to a medical and the signing of a five year contract, Leon Bailey is now an Aston Villa player. The English club made the news official on their website saying they had struck a deal with Bayer Leverkusen. According to 'Sky Sports' and journalists like Fabrizio Romano, the cost is around 35 million euros. 

However, Villa have not revealed the financial terms of the deal. "Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement for the transfer of Leon Bailey subject to the player completing a medical and finalising personal terms," the statement reads.

It is quite likely that there will not be any issues with the medical or the personal teams so one of the most eyecatching players in the Bundesliga in recent seasons will join Aston Villa. 

This will be Leon Bailey's first experience in the Premier League. He is really looking forward to trying his luck in England and giving his all. In fact, days before this news became official, he himself admitted in an interview with 'ESPN' that he was planning to leave the German outfit.
