OFFICIAL: Adrien Rabiot returns to Serie A with Milan under Allegri

After a turbulent start to the season, marked by a disappointing defeat to Stade Rennais on the opening day of Ligue 1 and his subsequent listing for transfer, Rabiot's departure was widely anticipated.

The French midfielder spent just one season at Marseille, despite coach Roberto De Zerbi and some teammates being open to him staying.

In the end, both clubs negotiated a deal that sees Rabiot return to Serie A for around 10 million euros.

Massimiliano Allegri, who previously managed Rabiot at Juventus, played a key role in orchestrating the transfer. The midfielder has signed a four-year contract with Milan, marking a new chapter in his career in Italy.
