Martin Odegaard has torn the soleus muscle in his right leg. That is what medical tests have shown this Monday after he got injured the international break.
This puts an end to all doubts: He will not play against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League or in the 'Clasico' against Barcelona, since he will be out for around a month.
The injury occurred while he was playing for Norway in the Euro 2020 play-offs and the Nations League. The Real Madrid player was a starter in the three matches against Northern Ireland, Serbia and Romania, but he picked up a knock.
On his arrival to Madrid, he was subjected to a test which revealed an injury to the soleus muscle and he missed the Cadiz game. Finally, it has been confirmed that he will not return until November.
Real Madrid's injury problems continue. Mariano, Eden Hazard, Odriozola and Carvajal are injured, while others like Militao, Asensio, Isco, Jovic, Lucas Vázquez and Kroos have had several issues up to now.
