Amid a financial crisis, the world's oldest Football League club - Notts County - are in danger of slipping into administration. Unless a new buyer can be found quickly, the financial crisis could threaten the historic club's future. They are already bottom of the Football League, needing five points to take them to safety.
After accidentally posting a naked picture of himself on social media, the club's Chairman Alan Hardy put the club up for sale last month. Whilst the two events don't seem to be related, Hardy finds himself in financial trouble having bought the club in January 2017 using a loan he had taken out from his interior design company, Paragon, in order to do so.
In most recent records published by the Companies House, Paragon Interiors Group referred to "Related Party debt" of £7m. It is understood almost all of this money was used to fund the football club.
