Ever since Thiabut Courtois arrived at the club, speculation started to mount over Navas' future. Now, however, it seems almost impossible that he will leave the club this summer.
According to 'AS', the goalkeeping situation at 'Los Blancos' is becoming somewhat awkward, with Navas asking to fly straight to Monreal from Costa Rica to meet the team on their pre-season tour.
The goalkeeper was given permission by the medical staff to not have to cross the Atlantic before flying back again days later, but he arrived at the team hotel at 2am this Wednesday - just hours before the team's first training session.
Keylor wasn't present at the team's first meal together, although he did train with his teammates in a high-intensity session on a hot Wednesday afternoon in Canada.
On top of everything else, there is a lot of uncertainty regarding his relationship with Zinedine Zidane. The Madrid boss has made it clear that Courtois will be his number 1 and, added to the fact that Keylor insisted in March that he doesn't want another season like the last, only serves to complicate an already tricky situation.
