Inter Milan decided to let go of many important players that lead them to the 'Scudetto'. Chelsea's tempting offer made Inter let go of Lukaku, Inter's main man for the past two years, but Inter's CEO Giuseppe Marotta's word makes clear that he is not being missed in Milan.
"We sold Lukaku for 115 million euros and Dzeko was signed for free. On the pitch there is not much diference", claimed Marotta to 'Il Corriere della Sera'.
"Lukaku left because he wanted to double his salary. In Italy we can't afford to pay those salaries", claimed about Belgium's top scorer ever.
"We can't make those signings anymore. I would not be able to buy Lukaku for 75 million. We have to sign cheaper and better," said Marotta.
Lukaku scored 64 goals and gave 17 assists in 95 games for Inter. On the other side, Dzeko has scored 7 goals and given two assists in eleven games.
