Enugu Rangers remain third and are six points behind Rivers Utd and four off Plateau Utd after a 1-0 victory over Katsina Utd. Ebuka Okorie got the goal in the 57th minute. Elsewhere, Remo Stars moved into fourth with a 1-0 victory over second from bottom MFM and Kwara United have dropped into fifth following a 2-0 defeat to Dakkada. Emma Anyaoosi and Etido Dan netted for Dakkada.
Basement boys Heartland lost 2-0 away to Nasarawa United. Chinedu Ohanachom scored in the ninth minute while Abdullahi Abubakar scored 17 minutes from time. The highest scoring game saw Abia Warriors beat Enyimba 2-1 with all the goals coming in the first half. Finally, Shooting Stars versus Gombe United and Kano Pillars against Akwa United both ended goalless.
The remaining fixtures take place on Thursday at 17:00 CET. They see the top two in action as leaders Rivers Utd take on Lobi Stars while second placed Plateau Utd play Niger Tornadoes.The other game sees Wikki Tourists face Sunshine Stars.
