The Brazil national team, with their attacking trio of Neymar, Gabriel Jesús and Roberto Firmino, will play a friendly match against Nigeria in Singapore on Sunday. They will hope to get back to winning ways after winning the Copa América in July.

They come up against the 'Super Eagles', who are usually a complicated side for South American teams. Brazil will hope to get back on track after drawing 2-2 against Colombia and losing 1-0 against Peru last month in USA, and their recent 1-1 draw against Senegal on Thursday.

After winning the Copa America final against Peru, they haven't convinced the press and fans in their last 3 matches. despite Neymar returning who didn't play in the Copa América as he was injured.

With the injury to the first choice keeper Alisson, his replacement Santos, of Athletico Paranaense, will look to show Tite why he was the star man for them in their Copa de Brasil win hence qualify for the Copa Libertadores next year. This is the first time he has been called up for Brazil.

Another player that has returned is Gabriel Barbosa 'Gabigol', the Brazil league's top goalscorer with Flamengo who is currently enjoying the best spell of his career after irregular spells in Europe- with Inter Milan and Benfica.

The African outfit, managed by the German Gernot Rohr and who will play in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, travelled to Singapore on Thursday after solving visa problems that some of the players and coaching staff had.

The Everton attacker Alex Iwobi; the Brugge striker Emmanuel Denis; the Leganés striker Chidozie Awaziem; the Udinese defender William Troost-Ekong and the Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi were the first to arrive.

The main absences against Brazil, all due to injury, are Ola Aina of Torino, Kenneth Omeruo of Leganés, and star striker Samuel Kalu of Bordeaux.

Nigeria will play in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers on 13th November with a home match against Benin. Their last friendly in September was a 2-2 draw against Ukraine.
