Mikel Arteta is clear about who he wants in his ranks and which players have no place in his scheme. The Arsenal board is working accordingly.
One of the players who could leave the Emirates Stadium is Nicolas Pépé. So far this season, the winger has made nine appearances, starting seven times. He has scored just one goal and provided three assists.
He doesn't quite fit in with Arteta. When he signed him from Lille, he scored 23 goals in Ligue 1, a far cry from the 16 he scored in his first season as a Gunner.
For that reason, Arsenal are already thinking about selling him. And, according to 'Daily Mail', for a much lower price than the one they signed him for. If in his day he arrived for 80 million, he could leave now for only €30M.
The Gunners understand that the one goal he has scored in nine games will not allow them to get much more for Pépé. Arsenal are already listening to offers and digest that the signing of the winger could lead to the club losing 50 million on the way.
