Neymar's new contract agreed: just official announcement pending

Neymar's future lies in Paris. The striker silenced any rumours after his exhibition at the Parc des Princes against Bayern Munich. He said that signing a new contract is "no longer a problem."

It is not the first time the Brazilian has confirmed he is staying at the club, but everything seems to be sorted now. 

'AS' has consulted a source close to Neymar and they have confirmed the news. 

"The new deal is done and there is just the official announcement to be made. Something which has not been done yet for commercial reasons and other details. There's nothing left to negotiate."

This persona close to Neymar insisted that "everyone has known it for several weeks," so it is now a matter of time. 

Neymar, that said, will continue earning the same large salary," according to 'L'Equipe'. In other words, almost 29 million euros a year and the new deal will take him until 2026.
