Neymar's 2019 has been a horror show. The Brazilian started the year picking up a recurrence of his injury to his fifth metasarsal and then saw his team get knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United.
A setback which cost him a three match ban for insulting the referee. After returning to the field of play, the Brazilian, to make things worse, hit a fan after losing the French Cup final to Rennes and was banned.
As a result of all this, the Copa America seemed like the perfect place to put all of the previous incidents behind him, but it was not the case. In the days leading up to the tournament, Najila Trindade accused him of rape and while she was giving an interview, Neymar picked up an ankle injury and was ruled out of the Copa America.
He had to go to give his version of events on crutches and the case continues. All of this has happened to the Brazilian in just six months, in a horror show which seems never ending. His future is completely uncertain and rumours keep on growing.
French media like 'L'Equipe' say that the Brazilian is crazy about returning to Barca, the team he left in summer 2017 for 222 million euros. A figure which smashed the transfer record.
And after two years at PSG, the Brazilian seems to have regreted leaving the Catalan giants. The PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has come down hard on his stars and wants a major improvement in attitude and performance.
What seems clear is that Neymar wants to return to Barca, but PSG will not let him go unless a massive offer comes in. 'El Larguero' revealed that there is an agreement between both parties that he can leave for 220 million this summer or less than 200 if it is next summer.
Likewise, the paper 'L'Equipe', assures that Pini Zahavi, the person who had a stand out role when he arrived in Paris, has also offered Neymar to Real Madrid and that possibility is not completely out of the question.
Real Madrid want to get Mbappe, but Neymar could be a back up option. And the Brazilian has a powerful role in the marketing world. The talk on Neymar's future will go on and on.
