Newcastle will only spend 60 million euros in new signings

Newcastle is officially the newest state-run club following the Saudi-led takeover, but they won't go crazy on their first transfer window. The new owners prefer to keep a low profile for now. 

Newcastle fans were dreaming about signing Mbappe, Haaland, Messi or Neymar,... But football is not FIFA's career mode and there is something called 'Financial Fair Play'.

Despite their new financial power, which makes Newcastle the richest club in the world, the new owners want to remain calm and see first how things play out.

'The Telegraph' reports that despite having 200 million euros available to spend on new signings, the new owners will only spend around 60. 

The reason behind that decision is simple, the current situation at the club is not good, specially results-wise and they believe that making an all-star team from scratch is not their best option. 

First things first, Newcastle wants to appoint a new manager that can take the challenge of creating success in the long run. Once a solid team is created, the owners plan to bring the stars.
