Jesse Lingard could leave Manchester United. The Englishman's contract expires in 2024, his future is secured at the club, but he could leave to a team where he could be a regular starter. St James' Park could be his destination.
'The Sun' reports that the 'Red Devils' could let him go for 15 million pounds in case the player wants to try luck somewhere else. Following the Saudi-led takeover, Newcastle United could easily afford that price in order to sign the English international.
It remains to be seen if 'The Magpies' will start forming their super team on the January transfer window or if the owners will wait until June 2022. Maybe they are waiting until they sign their new manager, Lampard is their main candidate; Lucien Favre is on the list too.
As his future becomes clearer, Lingard keeps performing on the football pitch.
He played in the England win against Andorra and had an overall great performance. It is key for Newcastle that he keeps performing like that.
