Moussa Diaby is one of the names to watch out for this January. Newcastle like the look of the Bayer Leverkusen player, who will try and go for for him, but everything seems to indicate that he will not be going for his asking price.

Bayer Leverkusen are to get serious with Moussa Diaby and his future. 'Bild' have reported that they will ask for at least €100 million for any club wishing to buy the French winger. Newcastle are one of the sides going for him.

The Magpies have got one step ahead in signing Diaby, but everything seems to indicate that they will not be offering the asking price. The English side's offer will be far less, but it could go up depending on the negotiations.

Diaby seems to be a step too far for Newcastle, who are in the Champions League spots of the Premier League. Manchester United have also enquired about him.

13 goals and 12 assists is what the French star got last season in the Bundesliga. He is just 23 and he has a promising future ahead.
