At 21 years old, Sean Longstaff can now boast about being on the list of one of the most important clubs in England and the world: Manchester United.
The young English midfielder for Newcastle went last season from playing for the reserves to being in the first team where he made 13 appearances and scored two goals.
Despite the fact Manchester United have been interested in Longstaff for a long time, the 'Mirror' reports that the Red Devils are now a step closer to signing him despite the player's Newcastle contract not expiring until 2022.
That said, United will have to be prepared to pay around 28 million euros, a perfectly manageable fee for a club of Man U's size.
