New Barca director to bring Auba to club

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Barcelona and, at the moment, is thinking about when he will be returning. After going to Chelsea in the summer of 2020, the Gabonese forward, who has played very little for the Blues, got chatting to a fan in a bar and said: "I'd like to return to Barca, but we'll see what happens".
According to 'AS', the African striker's return could be closer than ever. This is because Deco is closer than ever to becoming the 'Cules' new sporting director and the Portuguese man could be the determining factor to repatriate the current Chelsea striker with his former side.
The source claim that the player has been approved by Xavi and, what's more, Barcelona's future sporting director and Auba have maintained a great relationship since their paths crossed at the Gabon national side federation, as the ex-Portuguese player was a technical secretary.
What's more, getting the Gabonese man on board would rule out signing Vitor Roque, the 18 year Athletico Paranaense forward, who is thought to be one of the most promising young talents in the world.
It's thought that Deco's arrival at Barcelona will be signed and sealed this Tuesday, with a contract keeping him there until 2026, when Joan Laporta's reign ends.
