Bayern Munich are looking to reach the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal against Heidenheim, but will be without star goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who is still struggling to return from a leg injury.
The Bavarians are strong favourites heading into the clash, although the absence of the goalkeeper will worry those with an eye on the crucial Bundesliga title showdown with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Bayern are already having to contend with the absence of left-back David Alaba, and cannot afford any more casualties.
"Both are on the road to recovery", manager Nico Kovac said this week, although every day that passes without Neuer is costly for his side, who only have Sven Ulreich as back-up between the sticks.
