Kalidou Koulibaly could leave Napoli in this transfer window. The defender's contract with the Italian club expires in mid-2023 and the board could sell him in the coming weeks.
As reported by 'Tuttomercato', Aurelio De Laurentiis, president of the Neapolitans, would accept a figure close to 20 million euros to start negotiating for the Senegalese.
In that sense, the main parties interested in him are Chelsea, Barcelona and PSG. All three teams need an experienced defender to reinforce their back line and Koulibaly could be a good option.
The Catalan giants are set to sign Andreas Christensen in the coming days and could go in search of another defender in this market in view of the imminent departures of Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti. Jules Kounde (Sevilla) is the main target, but the opportunity for Koulibaly is also on the table.
The 31-year-old African has been in good form for several seasons now and could make a big leap in quality in this market. It remains to be seen if any team is willing to pay the amount that Napoli are demanding.
