It seems that Real Madrid have given up on trying to sell James Rodriguez this summer, and have realised now that they will be loaning James out this summer, with Napoli the side that seem to be about to bring the Colombian in.
James has spent the past two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich but despite the two years being relatively successful in Munich, the German champions opted not to sign him.
Carlo Ancelotti is the manager at Napoli now, and he has previously managed James at both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
He seems set to sign James again, in what will be a deal worth £8.9million, with an option to buy James at the end of it for £26million.
James has always struggled to find himself a starting spot in the Real Madrid squad, although he did score 36 goals in 111 appearances, and was a part of 2 Champions League winning sides.
The signings of Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard means there is even less space for the Colombian than there was before.
