Nahuel Molina arrived in Madrid at midday on Monday to undergo a medical with Atletico and sign his new contract for the next five seasons.
"I'm very happy, I want to wait for the medical so I can become a new Atletico player, so I'm very happy," Molina admitted on his arrival at the airport.
As his signing is not official, Nahuel Molina was somewhat cautious in respect for Udinese. For this reason, the Argentinian was not very open when it came to talking about Simeone and the meeting with his countryman.
"I have to undergo the medical and once I have done that I hope to be able to do a press conference with everyone together," said the Argentinian winger.
After his signing was finalised in the last few days, the defender left Udinese's training camp last Friday to head to the Spanish capital on Monday, landing at around 14.30 at Adolfo Suqrez-Barajas airport and leaving at around 15.15 (13.15 GMT) via Terminal 4.
This Tuesday, the 24-year-old is expected to undergo a medical with Atletico, prior to signing his contract, and join the Spanish team, with whom he could train on Tuesday afternoon, if everything goes according to plan, when the squad is scheduled for an afternoon session at the Atletico training complex in Majadahonda.
