Zinedine Zidane will have to make amends to his line.up this Wednesday. Nacho Fernandez has not travelled to Alcoy after having come into close contact with someone who has tested positive, 'AS' and 'Marca' reported.
The defender had a PCR test on Tuesday which came back negative and has had to have another on the day of the day. 'Jugones' cameras spotted Nacho arriving at Valdebebas to have the test. The result of it will not be known until this afternoon.
In any case, the central defender has had to self-isolate after having come into close contact with someone who has the virus. He will not be able to join up with the rest of the squad until he gets a second negative result. Nacho followed COVID-19 protocol and Real Madrid ended up travelling with just 19 players.

Nacho Fernandez was due to start against Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey as Zinedine Zidane wanted to rest Varane and Ramos is still getting over the injury problems he suffered during the Super Cup semi-final. He was limping during that match and took a painkiller in order to play in it.
The French coach will have to use academy player Victor Chust who will make his first team debut in a competitive fixture. He will play alongside Eder Militao.
