The Senegalese midfielder, on loan from Villareal, was disappointed with the Andalucians' first defeat of the season in their quest to return to the Primera Division, but didn't want to panic.
The club, who were in the Champions League quarter finals as recently as 2012, fell out of Spain's top league last season and are aiming for an immediate return. However they lost 1-0 to fellow promotion contenders Las Palmas in the Canaries.
Speaking after the defeat, in quotes on the Malaga website N'Diaye said: ''I’m sad for the result, we came here to win, but it’s our first defeat, and we have to keep working in the same way and try and win the next match. People mustn’t feel down as we’re working well”.
''It was a very close match, both teams could have won but in the end they did. It’s the small details”.
We try to win all the matches, but there are 42 and it’s not possible to win all the time. In the end the most important thing is being up at the top and working well, as we are doing”.
We’ve got a good mentality, we fight until the end of every match. When we concede we try to fight and get a good result until the end of play”.
