The signing of Leon Goretzka could push one of Bayern Munich's established midfielders closer to the exit door. The man in question is Arturo Vidal, with it looking more and more like the Chile international's time in Bavaria may be coming to a close.
The powerful midfielder recently told the press that his future was only certain as far as June, leaving the door open to a possible summer switch. Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes made similar comments, leading onlookers to assumer that the former Juventus man's days in Bavaria are numbered.
Those comments have served only to increase the number of interested parties, with United showing serious interest in the 30-year-old with a view to next season, according to German publication 'Bild'.
Jose Mourinho is understood to be a huge fan of Vidal, who has scored six goals in just 17 Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
