Mourinho to try and persuade Boateng

Jerome Boateng's future promises to be one of the stories of the summer. After ten seasons in the Bayern Munich ranks, the central defender said goodbye in an emotional message and he will look for new professional challenges. 

Many teams have come knocking on his door and now Roma's Jose Mourinho can now be added to the list. As 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' said, Roma are thinking about him as their leader in defence for next season. 

In fact, the Portuguese coach himself was tracking him very closely when he was at Old Trafford, but no deal was completed. On thos occasion, the amount of money offered will not be the only key thing. The sporting project offered will also be important. 

The cited media outlet also says that signing him will not be at all easy because Monaco (who are in next season's Champions League) and Fenerbahce are both keen to buy him.
