Mourinho's Man Utd on longest win streak in seven years

The days when Manchester United couldn't string even two wins together earlier this season seem a distant memory as Jose Mourinho's men romped to their eighth successive victory in all competitions.
The Red Devils have won every single match since being held to a 1-1 draw at Everton on December 4, including Saturday's 4-0 thrashing of Reading in the FA Cup.
Prior to that, Mourinho's team had gone over two months since winning back-to-back matches, and no United fan needs reminding of their patchy record of winning games consistently since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down in 2013.
Their current eight-game win streak is actually the longest they've had since September 2009, a season in which they ultimately finished second behind Chelsea in the Premier League.
Next up for United is a League Cup semi-final first leg against Hull City on home soil before visiting Liverpool next weekend for a return to Premier League action.
