Mauricio Pochettino's side travel to Old Trafford without their talisman Harry Kane, after he picked up a hamstring tweak.
Mourinho was asked before the game if Kane's absence would alter United's approach, and he chose to turn the question on its head and talk about his own long list of injuries.
The Portuguese coach was asked by 'Sky Sports' presenter Geoff Shreeves: "How does the dynamic change facing a Tottenham team without Harry Kane?"
He responded: "How does the dynamic change without Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, Michael Carrick, Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini...
"I meant in terms of how you face them today?" clarified Shreeves.
Mourinho fired back: "Did you ask Mauricio the same question in relation to my players that are not playing?"
"I haven't interviewed him yet," Shreeves replied cautiously.
Mourinho then suggested a topic to Shreeves and replied: 'Ask him how do you approach the game without Pogba, without Ibrahimovic, without Marcos Rojo, without Michael Carrick, ask the same question to Mauricio."
This prickly interview comes after Mourinho's recent outburst over managers who complain about injuries, targeted at Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, and the Italian boss replied, telling him to worry about his own team.
