Morocco tell Madrid that Brahim Diaz is in their pre-list

Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz maintains his chances of playing for the Moroccan national team. According to 'Marca', he has been included in the pre-list of the Atlas Lions. He also appears among the pre-selected players for Spain.

The Moroccan Federation has already told Real Madrid that their player can be called up for the international matches in March. Moreover, Morocco are increasingly optimistic that Brahim will play for them.

It is a mere formality but both the North Africans and Brahim Diaz have opted to have all the documentation in order in case he has to play for Morocco. With this move, Regragui could call him up for the friendlies against Angola and Mauritania.

Meanwhile, the RFEF assures that they are not aware of any change in the midfielder's intentions to play for 'La Roja'. His more than improved performance this season suggests that he will be called up by Luis de la Fuente, but if that call does not come, the 24-year-old has his back to the African national team.
