Gabriel Jesus is smiling again. The Brazilian ended his bad scoring streak to put Manchester City in front in their match against Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium.
Gabriel Jesus hadn't scored in the Premier League since 22nd February. It is therefore the Brazilian's first goal since football returned after the break caused by COVID-19.
The Brazilian finished off some great team play from City in the match. Pep's men passed the ball about from left to right until they found the gap.
With Newcastle's defence unsettled by so many touches of the ball, Gabriel Jesus appeared in the middle of the box to score from David Silva's cross from the left first time.
City stepped on the accelerator in the match, with their second goal similar to the first but with different protagonists. De Bruyne set the goal up for Mahrez to get City's 2nd.
