Morata not afraid of competition in Atleti squad

On his return to Atletico Madrid, the Spanish forward, Alvaro Morata, claimed that he is "very motivated" and "can't wait to start training".
"I'm very motivated and I can't wait to start training", said Morata on his return to the side from the Spanish capital after two seasons out on loan with Juventus. In the interview carried out by the club's media, he also claimed that he is sure that "it's going to be a great year".
"There's a super complete squad and we can aspire to everything; that was shown two years ago by winning the league title", he affirmed.
"I'm really looking forward to seeing our fans, who are the best in the world", assured the striker.
"On an individual level, the successes you have to set yourself must be few, you have to think about helping the team as much as possible with goals and assists, but the most important thing is to win titles, that's what I want and what my teammates want", indicated the striker in reference to his challenges both personally and as a group.
On the subject of the number of games he will have to play next season because of the Qatar World Cup, he said that the calendar "will have little effect". "Actually, it will be a positive thing for the team, as people are going to be on their toes", he added.
"There's a lot of competition up front. There are great players and I think this is a very good thing for the team because it provides more options to choose from, better for competition between us and against the other teams".
