Spain will face Germany on Sunday at the World Cup. Alvaro Morata does not know if he will play but he will gladly do whatever Luis Enrique decides.
The striker spoke to 'Marca' and he was full of praise for the Spanish coach: "He trusted me in the most difficult moment, not only in my career because I have had other bad moments, but also in my personal life. I felt that the whole country was against me. It was a very difficult situation and he understood and defended me. The only thing I try to do is to give him back that faith," the striker said.
"I'm in a World Cup... It doesn't matter. It's not just about being a starter or a substitute," he said about his playing time at the World Cup.
The Spanish player had doubts about his participation: "I've seen them all on TV for as long as I can remember and I had my doubts. You may think that you will not be called up if you don't have playing time at your club. For that reason, I'm in the happiest moment of my career."
Finally, he spoke about Spain's next clash against Germany: "We have to play as if we were in the round of 16. If we win, we are in and they are out. If we keep that in mind, we're sure to do well."
