Morata, a threat off the bench

This Wednesday is presented as a great day for an Atlético Madrid to seal its ticket to the knockout round of the Champions League.

A triumph for the red-and-white team could guarantee (if Juve defeats Lokomotiv) Simeone's team a place and, to achieve it, the team can count on one player: Alvaro Morata.

The Madrid striker arrives to the duel against the Germans in an enviable form, as he accumulates a total of four consecutive matches scoring (Bayer Leverkusen itself, Athletic, Alavés and Sevilla).

His good form means that he will appear in the Cholo's starting line-up, although the Argentinian knows that, if he leaves him on the bench, he could make even more of a difference.

Morata is a 'killer' as a substitute in the Champions League, as of his last five goals in the competition, four came from the bench.
