Jose Luis Morales, captain of Levante, has concluded the season with a text on Instagram that sums up with a "We'll be back" what has been the campaign just ended with the relegation to the Segunda. At the same time, he did not specify whether he will remain at the Valencian club.
After recognising that "time puts everyone in the place they deserve", he pointed out that "unfortunately, the season has given rise to what nobody wanted to happen" and detailed that they have tried to avoid it, but the reaction was "late and insufficient".
In the text, he thanked his teammates for the fight for a goal for which they have given "their lives", although in the end it has "slipped through their fingers". He also took the opportunity to thank the fans, who have been by the team's side when they have been most needed, and his family and friends, for preventing him from falling apart in a fight in which he has not been able to emerge victorious.
"To finish, I just want to say that we will be back, this club and this fan base deserve what they are, to be in La Liga. Two colours that always stand up, because this is Levante. Don't try to understand it," said the player.
