Moise Kean is in his second season on loan at Juventus from Everton and, obviously, one of the options he has is to stay at the Turin club. The problem is that, at the moment, he is not convincing the board, although this does not mean that his options have been exhausted. 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reported on this.
The Italian newspaper claims that the 'Vecchia Signora' board will wait until the end of the season before deciding whether to keep him in the squad or let him leave. To sign him on a long-term deal, they would have to pay the 30 million euros option to buy him, a price that is not ideal for the club's coffers.
In fact, his market value is ten million less, so it would make little sense to pay, for a player who is not at his best, a figure that is above his value. What the Turin board can hold on to the most is that he can fit into the profile of a substitute.
Moise Kean scored his first goal of the season against Empoli last Serie A matchday. It was part of a crushing 4-0 win that left the team feeling very good feelings. If he can return to his best form, perhaps he will take the step up that is required of him to earn a contract as a 'Bianconeri'.
