Modric has responded to a post from the intstagram account - 'futbolalreves'. The account has posted making claims regarding the actions of the Croatian star.
The comment has not gone unnoticed in the Italian press, and it was 'Corriere dello Sport' who first reported Modric's response to the claim.
The post claimed that Real Madrid would make an official complaint to FIFA regarding the actions of Inter, who spoke directly to Modric before getting permission from the club. It went on to say that that Modric initiated the contact because he wanted to join up with the Croatians already playing for Inter (Perisic, Brozovic and Versaljko).
Modric's reply was short and sweet: "This is the biggest load of bull**it in history!!!"
In addition, Inter confirmed on Friday that they never had any contact with Modric, and they put out a statement condemning Javier Tebas - president of LaLiga - for having raised doubts over their conduct.
When the rumours first started to emerge, Real Madrid were adamant that the only way Modric would leave would be if his release clause were paid, some €700m. According to the Spanish press, 'Los Blancos' are keen to denounce the 'Nerazzurri' for trying to take Modric in any way. The Croatian has a contract in Madrid until 2020.
