Mkhitaryan destroys Tottenham with his first Premier League goal
A special day for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as he scored his first Premier League goal for Manchester United. However, his victory didn't last too long as he had to leave the pitch in minute 82 due to a injury provocated by Danny Rose. We don't know yet how long he is supposed to miss and whether his injury is serious or not but let's hope he will return very soon to the pitch. The Armenian was carried off on a stretcher but we have to cross our fingers that the situation isn't too serious.
United's previous eigth games have all been draws, therefore today's victory is a very good sign. The match started very lively with several opportunities for United. Ibrahimovic and Pogba failed to score a goal for their side, however Mkhitaryan used his chance in minute 29 and scored his first Premier League goal.
Tottenham started well too but failed to net a single time. The guests returned stronger in the second half and Kane, Alli and Son tried to put the ball into the goal but De Gea didn't let them in.
Valencia, Pogba and Mkhitaryan received yellow cards, as well as Wanyama, Walker and Rose.
