The 'Cottagers' currently sit bottom of the Premier League following a dismal start to the season that saw Slavisa Jokanovic sacked and Ranieri parachuted in as his replacement.
Mitrovic, for his part, has been a rare bright spark for the Londoners, scoring seven Premier League goals so far this campaign, a tally only beaten by six players.
However, speaking ahead of Wednesday night's clash with Leicester, Mitrovic told 'Sky Sports' that there is more to come both from him and the club in the coming weeks and months.
"I feel good at the moment, I feel really good on the pitch.
"I'm very happy that I am playing football in the Premier League and for my country as well.
"I'm enjoying my time here at Fulham, and my time in this team.
"I think there is a lot more to come. I am still 24, so I have much space to improve."
Mitrovic joined the club on a permanent deal in the summer for a fee potentially rising to £27m following an impressive loan spell with the club last season and he insists that the club's fortunes will improve as he called for patience from fans.
"I try to learn every day and train as hard as I can," he continued. "Sometimes, you have tough times when you don't score goals, but the most important thing is to keep working hard.
"I believe in this team and this manager and this club and these fans.
"I feel really happy and I think there is a lot more to come from us.
"As time goes on, we will be better and better."
